I checked the site and it seems to be running just fine. I don't why you had a problem with it. What message did you get when trying to load the site. Did the site show up at all?

If I was going to try to get an edu site to link to my blog, I'd make sure my blog had plenty of links to .edu sites, .gov sites, and the top sites in the field I write in along with information...
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by getting links from .edu.
