Expertscolumn.com is a portal where columnists (authors) from around the world write columns (articles) and share their expertise. Columnists get paid for sharing their knowledge. We pay large chunck of revenue back to the community in order to keep them happy.

We pay on Per View basis and not on per article or per click basis. To check more about this just have a look at How the revenue is calculated below.

First thing is to register an account with us and provide your paypal/moneybooker id so that you can be paid. Then you have to simply login, write a column and publish it. Once published, it will start generating money for you. The more your column is being viewed, the more will you earn from this program.

We pay on per view basis, so it becomes much easier for you to earn descent money from this program. The key is to bring in more and more visitors. If you are not sure on how to bring in more visitors, then please check How do I get visitors to my columns (articles) below.

You get paid on CPM basis i.e. paid everytime your column is being viewed. There is no need to register with Google Adsense program in order to earn money here.

CPM simply means the amount you will be paid for every thousand visitors. As we pay on CPM basis so you will see your earnings increment every time you get visitors to your columns.

Well our CPM rate always keep on changing. It keeps on varying from person to person and country to country. It would never be same for any two writers. User X earnings will always be different from that of user Y and user Y earnings will always be different from that of user Z due to the fact that the rate at which earnings are calculated will be different for every user.

While good writers will yield high CPM rates, also visitors from countries like USA, UK, Australia, Canada etc will result in higher earnings. So we at Expertscolumn.com, always encourage the best in you. And never forget that we are paying you for your republished work.

As you know, we pay all our columnists through either Paypal or Moneybookers , so it is must for everyone to provide their payment Id either while registering or editing the account.

If you have already registered and did not provide your payment Id there, then go to your "My Account" page and click on the Payments button. Move on to Payment Details tab and choose your payment option from the menu provided. Simply provide your id there in the asked field.

Those who do not provide their Id won't be able to receive payments from us though they can watch their earnings growing daily in their Expertscolumn account.

We clear payments on every 5 days gap i.e. on 1st, 6th, 11th, 16th, 21st and 26th of every month. But for the payout to happen it is compulsory that you manually request a payout from us by logging into your account. If you have requested the payment on 17th then it will get cleared by 21st of that month. Similarly payment requested on 5th will get cleared by 6th of that month.

We have designed a referral program where you earn extra 10% of the earnings earned by your referrals for the lifetime. For example, if you referred a columnist who earns $5.00 for every thousand views that his column generates, then you are automatically entitled to earn $0.50 for every 1K views from us. And there is no limit on this. You can refer as many columnists and can earn as much as you want to.

To find your referral link, just go to My Stats --> My Referrals under Navigation Menu.

Yes you can get paid for leaving comments. But before your begin, here are few rules to follow as we will not tolerate violations of any kind:

1) Comments must be 50+ words for them to get paid.
2) Leave comments only when you feel the need.
3) Do not leave comments just for the sake of making money.
4) We will strongly moderate comments and remove those found not matching the subject or those written just for the sake of earning money.
5) You can post as many comments as you wish to but do not try to spam through them. It will get you banned.

Column is simply a kind of article that you publish at Expertscolumn. There is no difference between the two. To match with the site's name we simply renamed it to column.

The minimum word count is 300 words. Though there is an exception for Poetry and Recipes where we accept columns consisting of 200 words as well. However for all other categories it is 300 words. If we find any column below 300 words posted after August 25th, 2012, we reserve the right to delete/unpublish it.

And for maximum word count, you can write as big columns as you can. However we would suggest you not to go beyond 1500 words as it would not be in the interest of readers then.

Members who got their accounts registered before October 15, 2012 are allowed to re-post their articles from other websites and blogs. However those registered on or after October 15, 2012 are no longer allowed to re-post from other websites and blogs. We now accept only 100% original and unique content from new members.

For those who registered before October 15, 2012, only those columns (articles) where the following criteria is met would be allowed for re-publishing here;

1. Author name should match with the one at other website(s)
2. Verify your account with other websites by linking to ExpertsColumn from those sites

Yes, you can post your columns to other websites including your personal blogs, discussion boards or whatever. You can also publish your columns to other writing sites if they allow you to do so.

While posting to other websites, kindly make sure that you backlink to your column with us so that it get better exposure and you make more money as you would be getting lot of traffic then.

The easier way to do this is to copy the information given in the "Promote This Column on Other Sites" box present at the bottom of your column body and paste it along with an article that you are about to publish on other websites, blogs or forums.

If you manually want to do this then first of all login to the site you wish to link your columns from. After you log in, create an article with similar title and content. Now add the message at the end of that article stating that it is originally published at Expertscolumn.com along with an anchor link to your column.

Anchor link is any link which is written using < a href > & < /a > tags. This tutorial at http://expertscolumn.com/content/adding-links-expertscolumn-articles-you... can guide you very well on how to create anchor links.

Although you are free to write on any topic confirming to our writing guidelines but still we encourage you to write on topics which are important from readers point of view. Try writing on product reviews, how to articles, educational, health, business, technology and games related material that can fetch you more readers.

We request you to carefully read our writing guidelines as we usually rejects all those column which do not meet our writing guidelines.

As a reference please make sure of following things while writing columns:

1) No Plagiarism: We hate plagiarism and thus have zero duplicate content tolerance policy. Every column that you post is reviewed by us and if found duplicate we will simply delete it.

For us, duplicate column is one that has been published by some one else at some other website. If you are an actual author there, then the column won't be counted as a duplicate one. So if you are posting the same column here, make sure your author name at both the places is same, and you put a link to your column from the site you just re-posted, otherwise we will delete it without any prior notice.

2) No Spam: We have zero spam tolerance policy and wastes no time in banning members that spam here. So please take care in this regard as well.

3) Read Adsense Content guidelines. Ours are pretty much similar to them.

4) Take care of formatting.

There is a Report Violation link present at the end of every column or comment. Simply hit that link, enter the flag note and submit it to us for review. Your request will be reviewed upon by administrator/moderators within 48 hours and action would be taken only if your reason is found to be valid.

So try to give us a good explanation while submitting the flag form.
