WWF Sunday Night Heat for February 14th 1999 is just one hour away from St. Valentine's Day Massacre. On WWF Sunday Night Heat, we'll see Tiger Ali Singh take on Billy Gunn and Viscera take on Test. Plus all of the last minute up to the minute news, in Part 109 of the WWF Attitude Era Series.
WWF Attitude Era Series Part 109: WWF Sunday Night Heat 2/14/99
Mr. McMahon is out to taunt Stone Cold Steve Austin before their Steel Cage Match later tonight at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. He says that if Austin attacks him, he can break the contract.
Mankind is being trained in the back for his WWF Championship Last Man Standing Match by Dominci DeNucci, The Iron Sheik, and Bob Backlund and it's glorious.
Viscera defeated Test via disqualification
They have a match, it isn't much, Big Bossman attacks with a nighstick and then goes after Viscera and Mideon. Just a set up to remind us that Big Bossman takes on Mideon at the Pay Per View.
Bit of a segment with Debra and Ivory, trying to get the tag team match changed to a six person but Ivory declines. Both women get into a scuffle. D'Lo Brown, Mark Henry, Owen Hart, and Jeff Jarrett break everything up.
Iron Sheik trains Mankind with the Persian Clubs but Sheiky Baby is pleased at Mankind's suggestion of using the clubs as a weapon.
Billy Gunn has been bribed with money by the Corporation but Ryan Shamrock shows up, for a bribery of a different kind if you know what I'm saying.
Billy Gunn pinned Tiger Ali Singh
Gunn wins rather easily with Val Venis counts the pin. Ken Shamrock attacks Val Venis and Billy Gunn attacks them both. DX and the Corporation are out, and we have a rather chaotic brawl. Really not much of a match, just a set up.
Dominic DeNucci works with Mankind about the fine points of dropkicking.
Bob Backlund tries to get Mankind to run the stairs but the Rock attacks the leg. The training segments were a good part of an utter lackluster Heat and the air of mystery if Mankind could win a Last Man Standing Match on one leg.
Mr. McMahon ends the show calling out Stone Cold Steve Austin. Out comes Shawn Michaels, but Vince accuses Austin of hiding. Out comes Stone Cold and Mr. McMahon spits right at Austin to try and provoke him. The show ends with Austin standing there, envisioning the beating he'll give Mr. McMahon.
The WWF Attitude Era series continues on St. Valentine's Day Massacre, with Stone Cold Steve Austin against Mr. McMahon in a steel cage match and Mankind defending the WWF Championship against the Rock and more in Part 110 of the WWF Attitude Era Series.
