WWE Superstars 09/02/10

WWE Superstars for September 2nd 2010, features a one on one battle between Kofi Kingston and Chavo Guerrero in the main event. Also, Santino Marella collides in singles competition against Jimmy Uso and Ted DiBiase takes on Goldust. It is time to kick back, take a travel back in time, and watch some WWE Superstars for September 2nd 2010.

WWE Superstars 9/2/10

Ted DiBiase defeated Goldust

A feud would be spurned between these two rather quickly but right now this is a good match and one of the better matches of the junior DiBiase's career. Goldust and Chris Masters were the co-MVPs of Superstars around this time and we never did have a one on one match between the two. Oh well, some things will never be meant to be. Goldust gets a fair bit of offense but the Dream Street spells his doom.

Recap of Kaval winning the finale of WWE NXT Season 2. Yeah, that was a waste of a season in hindsight.

Santino Marella defeated Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso, Tamina and Vladimir Koslov are at ringside for this match and it is a fun little four minute match all things considered. Santino I think it's safe to say that he might be the most credible joke character in the history of WWE, if that makes sense. Samoan Drop sets up a splash but Santino avoids that and gets the pin. All hail the might of Santino Marella.

Kofi Kingston defeated Chavo Guerrero

Kind of a bit meh at points but this one did pick up before too long, so I cannot fault it for that one. Chavo actually seemed game. Three Amigos is pulled out by Chavo but Frog Splash is foiled. Back and forth, until Kofi hits Chavo with the Trouble in Paradise to knock Chavo down for the pin. Kofi Kingston scores the pin.

The first WWE Superstars of September 2010 was a perfectly acceptable night of wrestling action.
