Damien Sandow picked up the win over Yoshi Tatsu.

Alex Riley scored the win over Drew McIntyre.

Cody Rhodes won his match against Justin Gabriel.

WWE Saturday Morning Slam Tapings.

Brodus Clay picked up the win over Curt Hawkins.

WWE Smackdown 08/24/12 Results.

Booker T made Alberto Del Rio against Randy Orton in a number one contenders match for later in the evening. The winner of that match will face Sheamus for the World Championship.

Teddy Long replaced Josh Mathews on commentary.

Ryback destroyed Jinder Mahal in a revenge match from the events of WWE RAW.

WWE Diva's Champion Layla defeated Aksana. Kaitlyn was on commentary. Eve came out to raise both of their hand.s

Sheamus dared Dolph Ziggler to cash in tonight.

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler via disqualification when Ziggler nailed him with the briefcase. Ziggler was about to cash in after the match, but Sheamus woke up so Ziggler decided not to.

Santino Marella and the cobra are at odds after losing the United States Championship. Antonio Cesaro was out to gloat. Cesaro then beat up Santino when Aksana distracted him.

WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston retained over Epico nad Primo.

The Prime Time Players, Epico and Primo, the Usos, and Kofi and R-Truth all get into a brawl. Four way match seems likely for Night of Champions.

Alberto Del Rio made Randy Orton submit to the Cross Armbreaker to once again become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Ziggler is out once again but Orton popped him with the RKO.

In the post show dark match, John Cena pinned the Big Show.
