WWE RAW 12/19/11, one night removed from WWE TLC, features an epic six man tag team match with Zack Ryder, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk against The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, and Dolph Ziggler in an epic six man tag team match.

WWE RAW 12/19/11

CM Punk is out. He talks about he kept the title but there were some new champions last night. Such as the brand new United States Champion Zack Ryder perhaps. Or the brand new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, and CM Punk with titles, this is a glorious day to be this wrestling reporter. An ECW chant is up, in 2011. Proving that there are some things that are beyond Vince McMahon’s power to kill dead. Ten years ago they were in Ring of Honor, and now Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are champions. Zack Ryder also worked his way to the top. Out comes The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Alberto Del Rio who registers their displeasure at this happy segment in the ring. John Laurinaitis makes Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, and CM Punk against Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and the Miz in a huge six man tag team match tonight on RAW.

Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett via disqualification

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett locked and loaded for their return match from TLC 2011. The match was just a shade below last night. Not too bad, and a nice callback to the match where Wade Barrett thumbed Orton in the eye and scored the cheap win. This time. Barrett was caught with the thumb to the eye and disqualified. Wade Barrett then lays a beating on Orton after the match.

Alicia Fox defeated Beth Phoenix

Yeah this match, Alicia Fox vs. Beth Phoenix for WWE RAW 12/19/11, was not good. Alicia busts up Beth and beats her in this non title match.

Sheamus defeated Jinder Mahal

Sheamus vs. Jinder, again? Really? REALLY? Sheamus gets the win as you’d expect with the High Cross. Sheamus is my pick to win the Royal Rumble, but that could change about fifty times between now and January.

John Cena is out, for some fun and games, talking about Kane’s attack last week, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Out comes Mark Henry, Cena was lucky. Here’s Kane once again and Henry smartly bails. Kane and Cena brawl and John Cena gets the worst of it. Kane batters Cena something fierce, ripping his shirt and trying to choke him. Kane is a monster, well for now at least, but someone who can take down John Cena will make the fans sit up and take notice.

Primo and Epico defeated the Usos

Most of the tag tea division competes in this match on RAW. Last night, Epico and Primo fell to Air Boom and tonight they beat the Usos. Epico swoops in with the Back Stabber and wins tonight’s battle, in a fairly decent outing tonight on RAW.

Cody Rhodes is out, talking about his victory against Booker T last night but out comes Santino Marella, to have a few words with young ,”Koby”. Santino also has a special surprise, A Christmas Cobra, FTW!

Short match, with Santino being Santino and Rhodes getting the win with the Alabama Slam. I miss Hardcore Holly. Actually that’s a lie, no one misses Hardcore Holly. Rhodes vs. Santino was perfectly acceptable pro wrestling tonight on RAW.

The Bellas are backstage and Hornswoggle kisses Vickie Guerrero under the mistletoe. It’s hard to figure out who got the worst of that exchange.

Josh Mathews talks to the Big Show, who is not a happy giant this Holiday season. He tries to remain upbeat but there is only so much you can do, when you’ll always have the shortest title reign in history. Dolph Ziggler should send him a Christmas card. Big Show is not happy that this is brought up.

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, WWE Champion CM Punk, and United States Champion Zack Ryder defeated the Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Alberto Del Rio

It appears that a certain person named Michael Cole was more insufferable than usual on commentary, but I wouldn’t know, as I know better to mute the show when Daniel Bryan is wrestling for the sake of my nerves. Which is something that I should not have to do. Still six man tag team matches are always good and this one had a lot of exciting action, with Daniel Bryan wrapping Del Rio up in the LaBell Lock to tap him out. Del Rio is hurt because of this match, but it doesn’t appear to be all that bad. A couple of weeks off to rest perhaps.

Six man tag team match was all kinds of great fun and Kane and Cena’s segment did good as well.
