WWE RAW 11/7/11

Welcome to WWE RAW from November 7th 2011. We have the tag team match that we were supposed to have two weeks ago, with Awesome Truth taking on John Cena and Zack Ryder. Taped from Liverpool, England, this is WWE RAW for November 7th 2011.

WWE RAW 11/7/11

John Cena is out for the usual fun and games. The Rock isn’t here tonight and Awesome Truth know that, so they make their way out. Cena cracks funny but Awesome Truth are not amused and run to the ring, beating on Cena but Zack Ryder makes the save, setting up that tag team match that we were supposed to get two weeks ago with Awesome Truth against Ryder and Cena. Average by the numbers opening segment.

John Morrison pinned United States Champion Dolph Ziggler in a non title match.

Perhaps John Morrison is finally out of the doghouse after the past few months of being so far into it, he was in danger of attracting fleas. Lots of high impact action with back and forth moves and a lot of hot nearfalls. Morrison manages to roll Ziggler into a crucifix for a pin. Good stuff between these two.

Mason Ryan defeated JTG

I can’t think of a worst possible combination of two wrestlers. Mason Ryan gets the win. We’re moving on.

Wrestlemania tickets are on say. Michael Cole makes fun of JR and the challenge is off. Don’t know, don’t care.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston

Given that Evan Bourne is out on suspension, I guess the tag belts are going to be in limbo for the next month. Which goes to show you how much WWE cares about their tag belts. A showcase for Alberto, with the WWE Champion getting the win with the Cross Armbreaker. Del Rio continues the hurt.

Out comes Punk. Del Rio demands Punk cancel the title match or he’ll make him. Punk is not going to do so. He makes fun of Alberto, saying that fans fast forward on their DVRs, when Albreto talks. Punk will become WWE Champion once again. This drags on a little bit, and Alberto asks him to cancel the match again. When that doesn’t work, he attacks Punk. Punk reverses the armbar into the Anaconda Vice. Ricardo Rodiguez tries to make the save but he gets beat up yet again and hit with the GTS. Alberto escapes.

Jack Swagger defeated Santino Marella.

Swagger gets his win back from last week, with the Ankle Lock.

Kelly Kelly is out for her Maxim Shoot. Beth Phoenix and Natalya are out to mock and belittle Kelly. Then out comes Alicia Fox and Eve Torres rush them off. This feud continues and I am uncaring.

Kevin Nash has been re-signed and he talks about Triple H. If Shawn Michaels hadn’t liked Triple H in 1995 and Nash let him be with the Kliq. Triple H forgot who made him in this business and that’s why Nash hit him with a sledgehammer.

David Otunga and The Dynamic Dude are backstage, talking about how Brodus Clay will not be making his return tonight. Punk shows up and takes out Otunga when Otunga runs his mouth. Then Alberto attacks Punk and throws him into catering. They brawl until they are separated.

Awesome Truth defeated Zack Ryder and John Cena.

This match was just kind of a run of the mill RAW main event match, nothing really special. Awesome Truth use hijinx to beat Cena, with Miz holding down Cena, with R-Truth holding the feet down for the pin. Not feeling this main event storyline right now.

Next week the Rock will be in the house. And maybe Mick Foley as well, according to Internet wrestling gossip. So the Rock N Sock Connection together again at last, perhaps.

Why You Should Watch RAW 11/7/11

Ziggler vs. Morrison was a pretty good match. The rest of the show was just uninspired. Then again it was a taped RAW.
