WWE RAW 11/21/11

On RAW it’s champion vs. champion when CM Punk takes on Dolph Ziggler. Also Kevin Nash is in the house. This is WWE RAW 11/21/11 and it is live. Let’s get down to the report for November 21st 2011.

WWE RAW 11/21/11

Punk comes out. For those who missed the ninth WWE title change of the year, Punk is your new WWE Champion, beating up Alberto Del Rio. Punk talks about how he wanted to grow up to be a professional wrestler. He says he is the face of WWE. He still is wondering where the ice cream bars are. I’m with Punk on this one. He wants to see John Laurinaitis become the former interim RAW General Manager. I’m with Punk this one. Speaking of the man, here’s Johnny! Punk rips into Johnny Boy for calling the fans, the WWE Universe. They’re the fans. Johnny Never Hits his Spots talks about how he has a wild side of his own. Well he can carry a mean skateboard. He makes Del Rio against Punk for next week. Joy. But tonight, we’re going to have Punk and Dolph Ziggler champion vs. champion. Remember when the United States Title meant you were the number one contender to the title? No, I’m not older than Flair! Punk says that the fans want Ryder and Ziggler but it’s going to be Del Rio against Ryder tonight.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder.

Zack Ryder gives Del Rio a savage beating, with Del Rio not being able to stand up to the Internet sensation. Del Rio manages to come back, deviously, before hitting the enzuigiri and the Cross Armbreaker for the submission. Likely pulling the tights for the win. Ryder was robbed again. Well at any rate, Del Rio wins.

Recap of the Rock making Cena look like a fool once again last night. You know up until about a month ago, I didn’t think that John Cena should have ever turned heel for merchandising reasons, but now, he desperately needs a heel turn. Get behind Zack Ryder and have him recoup your merchandise money. Or get to those ice cream bars like Punk said.

Sheamus defeated Jack Swagger

Not too bad of a match but Swagger is just one of those guys that are decidedly solid but is rather dead to be right now. Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick. Again not too shabby.

Kevin Nash is out. He talks about winning the WWF Championship from Bob Backlund in MSG. He talks about the Kliq Curtain call. He says that Triple H is out for good with the beating he gave. Nash is the last Kliq Member standing. Well let’s see, Shawn…retired, Hall…yeah, Hunter…sledged, and Waltman…well he’s out there. I’d like to see X-Pac back actually more that I’d like to see Nash and perhaps half of the people on this show. I’m just saying.

Cody Rhodes says the mask is gone and he is complete.

Cody Rhodes pinned Santino Marella

Rhodes avoids the Cobra and snaps off the Cross Rhodes to get the win. Well he’s moving up in the world, as he beat Santino. Then Cody Rhodes tosses water in Booker’s face, due to some comments he made on commentary. So we’re going to start a feud between Cody and Booker now? Well Booker’s far better in the ring than on commentary.

Ziggler is 2-0 despite being eliminated, because his team won.

Booker will be a professional despite what Cody did. We’ll see.

CM Punk defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Both men had a rather great match all things considered. Then again it’s CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler, give them time and you know, they can put together something rather entertaining for the fans. Ziggler might be the most improved of 2011 by far when you think about it, but he hasn’t quite recovered from that fiasco on Smackdown with him and holding the World Heavyweight Title for ten minutes but he’s getting there. Go to Sleep Ziggler and Punk is the winner.

Kane is returning and he’s going to bring about the end of the world. Or so it is implied.

The Big Show talks about Henry, because this feud must continue. Henry got carted out last night and Show is not done yet. The build to the inevitable chairs match at TLC continues.

Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly played WWE 12. Product placement, yo. Beth and Natalya show up, to make fun of the Alicia and Kelly, saying that unlike in the real world, they can win in the video game and they don’t cry. Ouch. But true. But still ouch.

Wade Barrett defeated Kofi Kingston

These two men seem to have some great chemistry in the ring with each other. Randy Orton’s music plays to troll Wade Barrett, but Barrett is not deterred too long. He kicks the ropes to stop a springboard and Wasteland for the pin. Not as good as the match where Barrett reversed the Trouble in Paradise into the Wasteland when he won the Intercontinental Title but still rather good.

Barrett informs us that he’s the winner. Here’s Randy but Barrett bails.

John Cena is out for your main event interview. Hype for last night, hype for Wrestlemania 28, talky, talky, talk, talk, until the Miz and R-Truth come out. To make a long story short, they mock Cena, Cena mocks them, they have dissension and Awesome Truth appear to make up to get some of Cena, but the Miz decides to turn on Truth hitting him with the Skull Crushing Finale. OH NO! The long and lasting team of R-Truth and The Miz has broken up! This is one of the most horrific things that have ever happened in wrestling! They were together for three months! An epic and storied legacy filled with a rich and lengthy history! Whatever should the WWE Universe do?

Why You Should Watch WWE RAW 11/21/11

Ziggler vs. Punk and Kofi vs. Wade seemed to be pretty decent enough to have a watch. But seriously, who could care about the break up of a team that has been only been together for three months? Why would WWE do such a thing? Update: Apparently because R-Truth got a Wellness Policy violation. Yet Mason Ryan remains unscathed. Go figure.
