Would You Leave Your Teenager Home Alone?

Say you had to go away for the weekend, or even a week. Would you let your 15 - 17 year old stay home by themselves without any supervision? You may think as a parent you can trust your child to be responsible, but no matter how mature they appear to be be if you knew what they got up to while your away.

Before I tell you what me and my friends got up to when our parents used to go away for a few days, not all teenagers will do this but some will.

Throw a party - Yes the house will be clean and tidy when you get back but that wouldn’t of been the case two nights ago when they invited their friends over and got completely drunk. Chances are someone was probably sick and two horny teenagers were getting it on in your bed.

Getting Down To Business - If your son/daughter has a boyfriend/girlfriend the chances are they would have stayed the night at your house. And with no parents around to catch them in the act they will take pull advantage of the opportunity.

Going through your drawers - You teenager may well use this time to have a nose around your room to see what they can find, I know I certainly did. So if you have anything you don’t want them to see hide it well.
