Women History Month

This March 2012 and every year after will be considered Women's History Month. It is a great time to help make impressions on young women about making a difference in their lives and others by learning more about the history of humanity, their roles as young women, mothers, educators, wives, employees and or possibiltiy of being business or co-business owners.

Women have not grown to be strong leaders, they have always been great influences in history.  It matters not what culture a women is born into, her role is significant and very important for the establishment of a productive society.  Women when respected and listened to, have had the gift of insight that has helped children grow up to be productive citizens.  The first place of education of all humans begins in the home, especially homes that are more traditional than today's society.  However, there are not actually many homes leading a house with traditional values as it is said it is being projected. Unfortunately, there are societies where the abuse of women who could help benefit their cuture of their people by being home owners in the home while raising children are sometimes abused.  This abusing is causing the neglect of children and the degrading of women.  In the long run, the societies are dying because of the lack of respect for the power of the gift of a woman's touch, knowledge and natural spiritual even insight.

This Women's History Month, ignorance can helped to be alleviated from the minds of those who do not understand women are helpmates not in the aspect of being a slave, but as a value as a team player.  This Women's History Month, young adult women can be taught to begin to have an independence from a slave mentalilty to projected onto young women who sometimes rebel from their cutlure conditioning and or murdered even because of it.  But these are in cases of remote living. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get to the men of these societies to begin to umderstand some old ways are the ones that are destroying their culture and killing their chances of keeping their land and one day even their children because of their lack of respect for the natural roles of being human; men and women united as one to raise a family.

For those people who live a lifestyle where the entire economy of their land is dependent on their women and men working as units, try taking out March as a history lesson for women by showing them images and telling them stories of women globally that make a difference not just in medicine and or accounting, but in law, horictulture, education, non-traditional jobs such as flying a helicopter, flimmaking where they can tell the history of their lineage or culuture and or social advocates.  Take the young women to your place of work.  This is especially important for fathers to be able to take their daughters to work and show them opporunities that lie ahead for both them and maybe sons and daughters they to one day may bring forth.

I see it every day, women abused and downtrodden are with us right now. My sister runs a shelter for abused women and it really brings it home to me.

It is difficult at times to imagine women not being given respect and equal standing in society, when it is not the case in your own back yard. Your article is both very insightful and important for awareness. I will from now on try to remember to write and promote information about women from history in March of each year (especially) to encourage the young women of today. Thank you.
