There are countless articles and reviews about the comparison of these two writing sites. Why is Triond always attached with Experts Column's name? Wonder why? It's because, majority of writers or should I call experts or columnists has been writing in Triond prior in moving to their new home which is Experts Column.
Triond and Experts Column has similarities and difference. Writers from Triond have dedicated their time, talents and efforts for the expectations that they'll be well compensated from their contributions. And eventually, they just realized that the time and efforts they gave wasn't commensurate enough. They felt under compensated. And Experts Column has been their haven of relief against their disappointments and frustrations on Triond.
I would compare this metaphor. If a not-so pretty girl get along with a beautiful lady, what would you notice? Isn't it that the latter individual will be well appreciated? Her beauty is more emphasized due to the lack of attractivity of the other girl. That's were the principle of contrast is in effect. You can't appreciate the shining, twinkling star without the darkness of the night.
Same with Experts Column and Triond. The more they see flaws and unresolved issues in Triond, the more they feel relieved and priviledged writing on Experts Column. And top of the main complaint on writing in Triond is the the very low pay. Or most of a time - zero pay.
Because of these, you will greatly realize and appreciate the perks in writing in Experts Column. You will instantly notice its great income potential through passive earnings.
Aside from Triond's very low or zero pay, there are numerous issues and complaints that is left unresolved. One of those is the uncompliance and unresponsiveness of the administrators. Unlike in Experts Column were there are always the administrators quick back up response and support if a columnists have some queries or requests for assistance. I could testify to that. Aside from that, I won't mention every unresolved issues on Triond.
Many writers have realized that writing in Triond is just a waste of time, instead, they rather use their energies to go full time creating their column to submit on Experts Column. But in my case, I won't yet raise up my "white flag" on Triond. Though, there are many months that I haven't wrote a single word there. I just thought that it's still a supplemental income, though I will never earn the compensation I'm expecting.
To sum it up, my verdict;
Experts Column is miles better than Triond. So writers from Triond who moved out and transferred here, smart move.

Thank you for share that. Triond has big problems with administration. Example: I had some stupid mistakes, and I was in hurry. I change once, I change twice.... third time..... Fourth..... And someone was so smart to report that to Triond as spam. What to say? Nothing..... They even did not ask why? I have 20 articles or more, which I can not publish there because no reason! I just can not republish them there. And yes, there were honest people, but because of some people there, this place is better. People help here much more then there. And admin has more comunication with people. Thank you for share. Enjoy. Ps: Thanks for advice. Have not seen word "a", when I wrote title. Now i change it.
No problem. Thanks too!
Haha, I think it has something to do with them being the only two shared revenue writing sites that most people really use and dedicate to. I cannot really make myself commit to any other sites.
But if you're from the US, you can also write on yahoo voices (formerly known as associated content).beside it from paid views, you will be paid upfront if they liked your article.
It's weird that it's always Triond, and hardly ever other writing sites, like Yahoo Voices (what I use along with Experts Column).
I would like to ask, does yahoo voices also pay writers?
I think it's a bit more than EC members having previously posted on Triond. I think that by mentioning both sites in one article the writers are generating pieces relevant to both and then posting on both, to get views on both!
Great point of view.
