What's gaming really about?
Is gaming really an pastime activity or is it more than that? As far as my opinion goes, it’s a pastime hobby for me, but for some of my friends and acquaintances it is more of an lifestyle – or to some even a job.
Why do you think that they take gaming so seriously? Most of them are computer addicts and they even agree to saying that. Some of them make real money with it, some just like to spend countless hours on computers – but it’s quite awesome when you look at it. Have you ever saw a Lan Party – it’s an event where gamers come together and play computer games – occasionally for 3 days straight and love the hell out of it. So, if you have a gamer friend who sometimes will put his or hers game higher than you’d be. Forgive him/her, they just really love to game!
That is how you know that they will respect you afterwards and they won’t feel rejected. Because everyone needs a friend or two, when they log out from their game of choice. And of course they won’t always have time to you, but just act like you don’t mind, or better yet, start gaming yourself, that’s how you can spend even more time together slaying dragons or killing some monsters.
