What Prince William needs to know before the Royal Wedding?

Only a few days left to the biggest royal wedding, of the last decades. Now the big day is approaching, more and more details about the family of Kate Middleton are published by the press and I think that Buckingham Palace is not always amused by them.

The British royal family has had a lot of scandals and intrigues over the past decades. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and of course the affair between Prince Charles and Camilla during his marriage with Lady Diana are still fresh in the queen’s memory. The last thing the Windsor’s need is another scandal on a time when they seem to become more popular in the eyes of the people.

The brother of Kate Middleton’s mother, Gary Goldsmith, is project developer on the Spanish island Ibiza and was filmed two years ago by British journalists when he served cocaine and XTC to his guests. On that same occasion he told his guests that he could supply them more if they wanted. Goldsmith is one of Kate’s favorite uncles and she took Prince William to Ibiza in 2006 to visit him and she insisted that he was invited to the wedding. Kate’s mother Carole has told her brother that he had to put his act together and stay away from drugs and since then he has behaved himself as a true gentleman. He only visited Ibiza to rent out his villa and to sell his yacht.

Goldsmith will be a remarkable guest in Westminster Abby with his numerous tattoos all over his body and hopefully he will dress himself les shabby than he use to do. Kate’s family is holding their breath during the ceremony in Westminster Abbey because Gary Goldsmith is celebrating his birthday on the 29th of April and he might be up for a trick or two.

Let’s hope that the 29th of April will be a wonderful day for William and Kate and that their wedding will be one without incidents and that Kate will stay strong in this special family with an amazing history.
