"First love " might be felt during childhood years, younger years, or in late years. One truly will not know it until one meets his or her first love. It is during this time that he or she understand what "love" truly means. Love as it is written in Bible in 1Corinthians 13 that " Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, it is not puffed up, doesn't behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

"Love" in some opinions of people is defined as "a very complex matter," a very splendid thing" and for some a "mystery." And some people cannot even define love.

However, "first love" becomes a complex matter because it is the first time one feels what love is and the first time to have desire and longing to be with the person. The question is "What happens to your "first love?"

Most of the "first love stories"  remain just memories. They did not end up in marriage and some parted their own ways and found a new partner in life. However, the memories of first love haunt from time to time.

There are sayings that "first love never dies" and "love hurts." "First love" is a good memory because this is the first time one learns many things about love and the firtst time one feels what love is. And it is also the first time one would feel that love truly hurts. These are the reasons why it never dies.

If a man and a woman who once felt this love before and had parted their own ways, they became best of friends. However, some after long years of separation and still remain unmarried, and they cross path again, the relationship blooms and give love a second chance. Some first love stories conquer love as the saying goes. In this case, wherein "first love" is felt during childhood years or in the situation wherein the man and woman are distant or close relatives or there are traditions of marrying the same nationality. These require limitations from both parties. However, some really conquer love and some sacrifice their love and stand up for their limitations.

First love is very memorable and inspiring. Thinking of your first love will make you smile, will make you happy or will make you sad. After long years of parting ways, when your "first love" crosses your mind again, you ask yourself, "I wonder where he or she is right now?"
