What Happens After A Person Dies

For thousands of years scientists have battled with the question of what happens to a human being after death. For ages scientists have tried to understand what happens to a person after death. They keep asking themselves what happens to a person’s consciousness after death. Does the dead person still have a consciousness? Or does the person just lost all forms of consciousness? These are questions that till today our brilliant scientists are still unable to give a concrete answer to.
In this article, we are going to concern ourselves with the religious view of what actually happens to a person after death.

According to the majority of religions, a human being still maintains his or her consciousness after the person has died. This belief in life after death is called afterlife.
Many religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikh, Rosicrucian, Wicans and Spiritists belief that when a person dies, that is not the end of the person. These religions hold a strong belief in afterlife. They believe that when a person dies the person’s soul continues to live and comes back to the world again through rebirth.
According to these religions all present lives on planet earth are as a result of afterlives. They believe that this is not the first time that we are coming to the world.

Religions like Buddhism and Hinduism in particular have the strong belief that the soul of a person after death will instantly start a new physical life on earth in totally new body. The interesting thing here is that this new life the soul would assume is not all the time human. According to them, the new body could be also in an animal form or even in a spiritual form.
These religions have the strong belief that the new life the dead person assumes on earth again largely depends on the person’s previous life’s actions.
When we come to the Christian religion, we find that majority of Christian sects do not agree with the idea of a reincarnation. But it would interest you to know that a recent study United States revealed that about a quarter of Christians in the United States believe in the concept of reincarnation.
