What Children Want.

They want peace and harmony: they don't want their parent fighting with each other over some silly matter in front of them.it has a negative impact on their behavior and they turn out to be more violent. as a parent one must avoid any arguments in front of them.

They want love and care: They wish to be loved and pampered same way as other kids in the family.They wish that their parents should spend some time with them. each kid has the rite to be equally treated as their siblings and as a parent we shouldn't be partial in showering our love and affection on them.

They want honesty: They want their parents to be honest to each other as well as to them and they should be told about the truth of the relationship their parents share. In case of broken marriages, a child has the rite to know the reason behind the disaster and he deserves to know the truth.then only he would be able to gain trust in the parent he is living with.

They want closeness: They want their parents to be like their friends.They love playing with their parents.They want their parents to like their friends and welcome them at home. they want to play with their parents as like friends. they have a better sharing of their own life when parent are friendly.

They want attention: They want their parents to pay attention to them and listen to them and answer their question. if we don't pay attention to them,they feel neglected and loose self confidence.

They want consideration: They do not want to be embarrassed and punished in front of their friend or any outsider. As a perent we shouldn't make them feel embarrased in front of others.

They want positive support: They wish to get positive boost up from their parents.They want to be appreciated for the good points rather than their weaknesses. we should not put more stress on their weak points more often.

They want consistency: They want their parents to be consistent in their affection and love towards them.
 

This is all a kid expects from his/her parents.
