Weave Glue and Anaphylactic Shock

Liquid gold glue and other bonding glue is used for hairweaving. Some of the same types of glue used for hairweaves is used on eyelashes; the inexpensive type that cost about $25.00 to place onto of real eyelashes, take the lashes out and is the same glue used for horse hoofs.

There are dangers associated with the use of these glues that include allergic reactions that are known to cause people to faint, have anaphylactic shock and even die. Recently, there has been another report of a woman attending a club in London where she was partying to the music of her DJ boyfriend, it is alleged, when she fainted and died. The cause is being associated with a good possibility that it was the glue in her hair that killed her. What is not alleged is that the glue can be dangerous.  It is a crap shoot using bonding glue on any wig, eyelashes and or various hair extentions.  You could be the next person that dies from its use.  This goes with use of double sided tape that many entertainers, models and the publc both male and female that use the tape to attach lace wigs.

Toxins from these products seep into the scalp and poison the blood to the point where one can go into shock or possible coma. You just really do not know how your body may react to the substances in the glues.  Even more, it may or may not happen immediately, allergic reaction to a glue product, but it does accumulate with repeated use.

At the least, the glue used in weave products block pores which leads to unhealthy and dry hair.  It can also cause pulling on the hair follicles leaving both burns and thinning hair.  A professional haircare specialist cannot be responsible for the outcome of any hair product used on the hair or scalp, although they maybe more equipped at applying hair products.  Latex-allergic patients should be extra careful using any glue products for eyes, hair and even false nails.  What is called high-grade glue products for the maintence of these fashion items is filled with high concentraions of soluble latex antigens that are the causes for anaphylactic shock for some users.  Asthma attacks are also associated wtih use of the dangerous toxins in hairweave glues.
