Ways to earn a passive income: Part One

Many people dream of earning a passive income and there are many opportunities offered online to do just that, but don’t expect it to be an easy path. Earnings through passive income are often small to begin with and it will take many hours of hard work and dedication before you can start to see even a decent amount of extra money. If that hasn’t put you off, here are some ideas for earning a passive income.

Article writing: Many people get disheartened when they first start out on article writing sites as they don’t realise just how much work you need to put in before you can start making a passive income. The task is made a little easier on some sites as they allow you to republish your content this, however, might not be a good idea if you don’t want to be penalised for duplicate content.

Start your own website: You can set up a website, build it around a niche and add advertising and affiliate links. As with any other passive income opportunity it takes a lot of effort to get started and you’ll probably have to do at least some work to keep the site maintained, but there are a lot of people out there earning from niche websites.

Stock photo sites: You’ll need a large bank of high-quality photographs, images or designs and you’ll need to ensure that all of your pictures adhere to the guidelines or they won’t be accepted. Stock photos are unlikely to make you a full-time income themselves but they’ll contribute to it. Also, you’re only licensing the picture and there isn’t anything to stop you from approaching suitable markets with your photographs to see if they can be used.
