There are so many kinds of vitamins that are already present in food. However, when food is cooked they can lose most of their nutrients. So many people try to eat right but sometimes either slack or don't have enough time and choose take out instead.
To begin heart disease is a broad term used to describe the many different diseases that can affect the heart. Heart disease can be dangerous if it is not controlled. So many people live with heart disease and others die from it. The main thing about heart disease is learning how to live with it and using it as a good excuse to live healthier. In 2010 heart disease cost the U.S. billions of dollars in health care, medications, and lost productivity.
There have been several other problems that can lead to a higher risk of getting heart disease such as:
• High cholesterol
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes
• Cigarette smoking
• Overweight or obesity
• Poor diet
• Physical inactivity
• Alcohol use
Heart Disease alone in the United States accounts for 40% of deaths. This is even more than any forms of cancer combined. There are some vitamins that are showed to help lower the risk of heart disease. The main vitamins that are said to help in lowering heart disease are Vitamin E which is a fat-soluble vitamin and Vitamin B which is a water soluble vitamin.
Now there are more than one B vitamin each has its own purpose in helping to prevent heart disease.
There is: B1, B3, B6, B9, and B12.
Vitamin B1 can help aid:
-blood formation
-the nervous system
-brain function
-protecting heart muscles
-and even prevent constipation
Vitamin B3
-lowers cholesterol
-helps the nervous system
-helpful for mental illnesses
-a memory enhancer
Vitamin B6
-effects both mental and physical health
-helps with fats and protein
-helps maintain sodium
-helps protein balance
Vitamin B9
-helps with the formation of red cells
-helps the healing process
-removes homo-cysteine from blood (which can cause artery damage)
Vitamin B12
-helps the central nervous system
-helps red blood cells
-utilizes fat, carbohydrates, and protein
-improves concentration, memory and balance.
OK now I did not name everything these vitamins do but this is a good start to what they can do for heart disease and for your body in general. There are also two other vitamins that have been proved to be useful in helping to prevent heart disease which as Vitamin C and E.
Vitamin C
-helps to maintenance the body tissues
-helps joints, bones, teeth, and gums
-protects against infection
-helps to decrease blood cholesterol
Vitamin E
-Improves circulation
Each of these vitamins can help to prevent heart disease and give the vitamins some people lack because of their normal eating habits. However, there are others things that help to prevent heart disease such as not smoking, more physical activity, good mental thinking, and more.
Vitamins are not magic and will not work alone in helping to prevent heart disease. There are other ways involved to help prevent heart disease. Such as exercise, food intake, and other risk factors.
