Back to the sad story of my Views Drop on Triond. In the recent past, I didn’t visit Triond as much as I usually do. We had a long weekend out here celebrating the Queen’s 60 years of reign(in the rain:)). And I thought, I jolly well deserve to participate in the jubilation’s now that I am in England!
With 30 articles short for the 200 badge surely by passive income would come in handy?!Earning me the pennies while I took off for the extended weekend! Passive income, I have heard that term being used so often here on Triond. But like everything else it turned out to be just another bloated bait.
Triond urges us to publish like we are some kind of printing machines. Article, article, article… Write more,earn more. The more the number of publications in your content list the greater will be the cents collected in your coffers. And when you have hundreds of articles you can lie back and enjoy the benefits of passive income
What is this passive income?
Passive income is the money generated from page views to your articles long after they have been published. Even years later you can earn. YES you can! Oh wow! It’s true you can earn money for what you write today, tomorrow, the day after, a week later, one month hence, two months and so on… You could earn forever! Such a brilliant investment option and if you like to write… it’s a dream come true!
WOW! Triond is a treasure, I am so glad to have discovered…Yippie I am finally on my way to becoming an online writer! Here I come… I vow to publish plenty of articles so that someday I can sit back and enjoy the earnings from my writings! I work hard hoping that someday my efforts will be rewarded.
Alas! All I really get is, just a few worthless cents dropped into my Triond account.

If I get 10 views on Triond, I am fortunate. Today is a slow day on EC and I still have over 100 views.
Years ago, to make $50 a month on Triond was no biggie. This is when Triond was moderated and there was quality. Since the removal of moderators, since the implementation of glitchy software as the editor, quality became irregual, and then with the advent of the Ulsterman Report, went into the toilet.
Google warned Triond that unless it cleaned itself up it would be labled a Content Farm and start with negative points. Triond didn't care. Hence not only have hits and revenue and quality declined, but they don't care about it.
The fact garbage like the Ulsterman Report remains 'hot content' is proof of this.
You get most of your hits the minute you publish from newbies who have logged on for the first time and see the 'just published' section. When you don't publish, you don't get this Newbie market which is the only market you are going to get because you will Never be on Hot Content.
