Two Lovely Places I Have Seen in Europe

1.RHEINFALL,A BREATHTAKING PLACE

If you visit Switzerland and you want to admire the stunning greatness of nature,you should see among others the fabulous Rheinfall,the largest waterfall in Europe,and the place where the mighty Rhine River,which flows so smoothly up to that point,turns into a cascading waterfall which offers tourists a majestic view.
This amazing display of nature's greatness is 50 meters wide and 23 meters high,and it's situated near the town of Schaffhausen,not far away from the German border.Tourists can admire this splendor from different perspectives which make the experience of visiting Rheinfall truly unique.They can view the falls from a castle built on top of the north bank of the river,then they can admire it from a bridge built over the river,but to make the experience really amazing you must take a boat that will take you to a rock that lies to the middle of the falls.You will reach the top of that rock through a narrow stairway,and enjoy another spectacular view.
Another amazing view can be seen from a terrace in which you can get as close as possible to the gushing water;the impressions you will have being there are almost indescribable,the greatness of the waterfall will certainly overwhelm you. Rheinfall has been continuously unleashing his raging waters for about 14,000 to 17,000 years,the estimated period in which it was formed.It offers tourists an unforgettable experience,that will leave them stunned for a long time after seeing it and make them want to come back again and again,and at the same make them realize how wild,but also great nature can be.

2.MAINAU,A LITTLE PARADISE

Mainau is an island in Lake Constance and it's part of the municipality of Konstanz; it represents one of the main attractions of the German city.Mainau is more than just an island,it was turned into a piece of paradise by its owners.It includes a castle surrounded by parks and gardens whose beauty is breath-taking. The Castle of the Teutonic Order is the home of the Bernadotte family,which owns this fabulous land,and it's the center of the island.It doesn't have a complicated architectural design,but I think its beauty lies in its simplicity.
In the proximity of the castle there is a green house with amazing tropical plants and trees,birds and thousands of butterflies,it really brings the jungle in the middle of Europe,luckily without the dangers of the true tropical forests! There's also an amazing playground,which includes the Dwarf Village and Water World,places children eagerly explore and they will certainly have an unforgettable experience! There are many other attractions to see in Mainau,including gardens with lots of flowers,very tall trees and the lake itself,so I have to say that Mainau is truly a place like no other for those who love to get away from the noise and pollution of cities and experience at least for a few hours a little corner of heaven!
