Twins Spend Three Months In The Same House With Mother’s Decaying Corpse

One thing this world of ours is never short of is definitely strange and wicked happenings.
Take this recent development for instance:
Two twins named Edward and Edwin Berndt are facing felony murder charges because of the sick act they undertook. According to police reports, the 49-year-old twins allegedly spent a total of three months in the same house with the decaying corpse of their 89-year-old mother Sybil Berndt.
Police found the decaying body of the mother on Monday as it lay in the house the twins shared.
When quizzed by police as to what happened, the twins said that their mother died on January 13th – precisely three months ago. The 89-year-old woman died after falling down while she tried interrupting a football game that the twins were watching.

The twins are then said to have allegedly left their mother lying helplessly on the floor even though she desperately needed medical treatment. The twins told police that they were so broke they did not have the money to pay for her medical treatment that is why they had not other option than to just let their mother lie on the floor until she died. But during an investigation police say they found out from the twins’ bank statements that they indeed had a lot of money at that time. The bank statement revealed by the police showed the wicked twins had account balances of almost $700,000.
Investigations further indicated that Sybil Berndt was hundred percent conscious and could speak for the first day after she fell. But the sick twin-brothers Edward and Edwin left her there without giving her food nor water until she met her sad death.

When asked why they did not call the police when the incident happened, the twins said that they were afraid that doing so would send them to jail. Can you believe that?
According to reports, the police chanced upon the activities of the Berndt brothers when a concerned neighbor called the authorities to report that he had not seen Sybil Berndt for a long time. A police officer was subsequently dispatched to the Berndt family home and that was when the officer found the body of 89-year-old Sybil Berndt.
Her decaying corpse was said to be found with bugs around it, and was naked except for a nightgown which was pulled up under her arms.
The brothers are presently in jail facing felony murder charges.
