The top five reasons women dump men may be hard to swallow. A man may try to hide his bruised ego by pretending not to care. But he does care and would really want to know why his woman threw his heart out with the trash. Was it something he said or did? Was it something he failed to do? Was it his dirty underwear lying around the living room? Well then, it’s time to face the facts. Here’s the ugly picture.

1. He cheated.

This is strong ground for dumping. A woman can pull the plug even if her man just held hands with another woman or flirted with her. A woman values trust. She may never get over it if trust is violated.

2. He does not want to commit.

If a man is not in for the long haul, it’s time for the woman to walk out the door. A woman seeks security and stability in a relationship. She is not out to play and have fun. She is out to do serious business and reach her goal of settling down.

3. He does not have the potential to provide for a family.

It does not matter how much a man makes as long as he is ambitious, driven and goal-oriented. A woman walks out on a man who takes his sweet time bumming around and getting nowhere.

4. His woman outgrew him.

Aside from the fact that a woman matures faster than a man, there are times when she does better and makes more money than her man. Soon, she gets bored and leaves him for another man who matches her stature and challenges her to be the best she can be.

5. He is an abuser.

A man may easily blow his top and turn his woman into a punching bag in the heat of anger. Physical or emotional abuse in a relationship leaves a woman severely injured inside and out. A sensible woman will not tolerate such dastardly act nor will she risk her life and limb to stay in a destructive relationship.

Reality bites but it’s not the end of the world. There is always room for change. A man who understands why he got dumped can take his cue from there. Who knows? His woman might just give him another chance if he knuckles down and does serious work to deserve it.
