The above listing is genuine but not upto date
There are various engineering colleges in India, other that IIT’s & NIT’s.
Though IIT’s are the best but we should know the ranking of other colleges also.

IIT [Indian Institute of Technology] Kharagpur has an amazing academic retention rate. Although the student population might have less social interactions and media programs, teachers here have a thoroughly guided approach to helping students. The core curriculum of arts and sciences and the advanced degrees including EMBA and LLB are very well designed to give children an advantage in today's society.
