Three Ways to Improve The Chances of Getting Random Events on RuneScape!

Random events are small little events that can appear to anyone, at anytime or anywhere in runescape. Below I have listed some of the main ways to improve the chances of getting random events.

Runescape is the number 1 massive online multiplayer roleplaying game created by the UK gaming company Jagex and is home to millions of players, millions of who are playing the free game while millions more are paying around $10 a month to access a long list of benefits such as new areas to explore, new skills to train and new quests and things to experience.

Random events are small events which like the word random, can occur at any time while playing runescape. A few examples of these Random Events are the Gravedigger event where you must dig up items and bones that match while there are strange people who may teleport you away to sit a few random tests which can be quite rewarding.

Although these events are random, below I have listed three ways that you can use to improve the chances of getting Random events appearing left right and centre.

Method One- Be in a frequent Random Event area!

In order to improve your chances of getting Random Events on Runescape, the first step is to be around a popular random event area, this in its self, will slightly improve your chances because of the vast number of people coming and going. An example of a frequent Random Event area is on the Pest Control Island near the boarding area of the Novice ship.

When I have been to this area, after each game there was usually a random event occurring at that area and I am sure this still happens. Remember, the first stage of improving your chances of getting Random events hang around the most populated areas especially with people passing by such as the Grand Exchange which is home to a few random events.

Method Two- Train resource and gathering Skills

The next step to improving your chances of getting Random Events on Runescape is to train certain skills known as Resource and gathering skills. These skills involve gathering resources and include Mining, Woodcutting and fishing. While mining ore, cutting trees or fishing for food you have a greater chance of getting Random Events because they are also considered as small breaks designed to get you away from the mainland for a few short minutes. For example, while fishing for Lobsters or Swordfish on Karamja there is a high possibility of being swept away by a Random event.

Method Three- Just go about your Daily Activities

This is the final method which you can use to improve your chances of getting Random Events chasing after you is to simply go about your daily runescape activities. I know this might seem a bit obvious and pretty pointless especially if you are a Random Event hunter but this works like a charm and should I remind you that as much as you wish and wait for an event to turn up, these events are called Random events meaning they could happen at any time, any place and to anyone so sometimes you just need to do what you would normally do while playing runescape and who knows, sometime you may just find yourself teleported away by an evil cat while you are chatting to your friends or selling items on the Grand Exchange.
