How would you like to make $1 per day for the next ten years? That may not seem like a lot of money, but a little upfront work today could result in you making over $3600 in passive income over the next ten years… maybe more.
Don’t get me wrong, this is no get-quick-rich scheme or too-good-to-be-true free money offer. This technique does initially require some work to be truly effective. But once you’ve established a good foundation, you could generate $1 or more per day for a long time to come.
This process should be especially intriguing for writers, as composing, publishing and marketing internet articles is the name of the game. To be a successful online freelance writer, absolutely no financial commitment is required, only time, dedication and patience.
Step One: Open a Writer’s Account
The first step in this process is to establish a writer’s account at a reputable revenue sharing article directory. It is essential that the revenue sharing site pays a generous sum to its writers, as the sole source of the writer’s income will come from page views. In order to achieve a $1 per day income, it is best to write for a site that consistently pays writers at least $1 CPM – or $1 for every 1000 page views.
Step Two: Compose Articles
The second step in the quest to earn $1 per day is to compose quality articles that provide valuable information to readers. Composing quality articles is by far the most time consuming task in this entire process and should be an ongoing effort. However, several articles should be written and posted to the article directory daily. The articles need not be long, 300-500 words per article is sufficient. Depending upon writing ability and skill, it may take a few weeks to a few months to establish a library of quality articles. Ideally, you should have at least 100 articles published to your article directory. It may take a writer of average skill 60 hours total to compose 100 articles.
Step Three: Promote Articles
While article promotion should occur from the very first step in the process, it should take priority behind article composition. The fastest and simplest way to promote articles is through backlinking and social networking. My two favorite means of promoting articles are through Twitter and Stumble Upon. With a healthy Twitter following and a moderate amount of attention from Stumble Upon, it is possible to generate 20-50 page views per article per day. With a catalog of 100 articles at 20 page views per day each and a $1 CPM, $2 can be earned daily. Of course these numbers will vary, but with some heavy promotion through social media, an average of $1 per day can be earned with minimal effort after the initial work of establishing an article catalog.
In order to make the most out of article promotion, employing strategies like backlinking and regular posting to sites like Twitter are critical. Once you’ve published a large quantity of articles, no more than 2-3 hours per week will be required to maintain a social media presence for promoting your articles. Of course, the greater number of articles that are published and marketed, the more revenue will be earned.
I have found that the best revenue sharing article directory to earn residual passive income is Experts Column. The site pays writers on average $1.50 CPM, which means that a writer can earn $1.50 for every 1000 page views, much more than other, similar sites offer.

The solution for the lazy promoter (as some of your comments claimed to be) would be to upload 1,000+ articles. You really should be getting 1 view per article on a daily basis. At least, that's what I've noticed. Especially if you have 1,000+ articles. I really like your articles. Thanks for sharing x
I'm lazy at promoting my columns here so I rely very heavily on traffic from search engines and the promotion that this website does. I still get quite quite substantial traffic to my columns. ExpertsColumn is amazing in this aspect. Without any promotion, I still get very encouraging page views to my columns. Best writing website.
Good article, very motivating indeed.
thank you interesting article
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the article.
Thanks for sharing the tips. However, I think it might be hard to 100% passively earn from existing articles, which means the writer should not stop writing completely. Because articles have their own product cycle too.
You make a valid point. Thanks.
