Its an exciting time for all involved, however if you don’t have a proper plan in place it can be stressful. Although when you have a baby it can e hard to come up with a plan and sticking to it when there is a baby involved, preparing for your little ones arrival before they get her will make things a little easier for you.

How Long Are You Going To have Off Work? Do you have enough savings, is your partner going to bring in enough income alone? Babies are expensive as it is, and with the added time of work your money will have to go an even longer distance. Working out what you can and can’t afford to do early on will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

Returning To Work - When will you return to work? Is a family member or close friend going to take care of your little one while you are working? Or do you need to think about child care fees. Another issue might occur if you are breast feeding, you will need to make sure you can express enough milk to last your baby throughout the day.

With these two key issues in mind and planned for you will feel more in control and therefore able to enjoy your child without having to worry about anything.
