Street Magics: In Jaro, Iloilo City

Most of the Streets are very populated especially during rush hours, lots of people passes-by, many shops on the mall and strolling on the streets but just sight-seeing and no intention to purchase.

When you pass along the shaded building walls – there you could see lot's of freelancing performers such as playing chess, deck of cards, selling exotic medicines and lots of tricks. Others are preaching for the word of God for today, some of them use a megaphone while riding on a motorcycle with a sidecar attached to motorcycle’s right side. For sure, different types of street beggars are always present in each block of street begging for a penny without performing something. I like some of them because they show some extra ordinary talents while a donation for the public people heartily given in cash or in kind, or only greet is what important of all.

Street Magic’s are the most entertaining of all performers, they do magic voluntary in public so you don’t need anything to pay for. Whenever I saw them, I usually breaking down some points and clues if how did they do it, and I know that magic is proven not true because no one mortals (except God) defies the law of nature, and what they did is a secret techniques that if revealed easily then, it is no longer called a magic anymore.

So their secret (as to what I observed) is not only “Fast Hands” since I believe in hands are faster than eyes; but their ultimate technique is a different techniques and strategy. The angle to which and where the observer position themselves.

I like the way magic with a Comedy effect because it is getting more entertaining as the show goes on, while you are impressed by the results as well as you think you’re rolling on the floor laughing out loud for their facial expressions.

Here is another thing that I am waiting for, is if ever the magic performer (considered as a newbie amateurs) failed on performing their magic for the first time, and I see some of them failed, and I laugh secretly and I assure that no one notice me laughing; and I just remember something that even those expert miss universe sometimes failed to step and steep and fall off the ground, even a well known singers sometimes murder some songs.

Most of the magicians claim that Experience is the best teacher. For there are different types of Street Magic’s in a category of:

Transformation
Vanish
Restoration
Penetration
etc…..

They are called Street Magic’s because they make street corners and beside shaded tall building walls as stage of performing their free tricks to public people. Note: Be careful to your wallet on your pocket or else......
