Street Art: Beautiful Or A Mess?

I have seen some beautiful street art, and as long as its not offensive it can be a great way to be creative and express yourself.

Many will disagree with this saying it ruins our environment and there is a reason its illegal. I don’t think it should be illegal, people should be able to obtain a license to be able to create their art without fear of being arrested.

But what do other people think?

Warning I did get some extreme responses.

“ Most of it is a mess. Very little can be called art.”

“ Along with littering it should be punishable by death.”

“ I really enjoy looking at street art, when it is done well by somebody who is very talented it at.
The problem is, like with any art form, not everyone is great at. Unlike other art forms though, street art or graffiti is very public and people will go ahead and do it irrespective of whether they are good at it or if they have any artistic motivations at all.

So the amount of poor street art out there far outweighs the good stuff, and I can understand why people might see graffiti as a nuisance rather than an art form.”
