Today I am again writing about cooking and another fantastic dish which is very popular in Pakistan and this part of the world. People in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh love this dish and is cooked quite often in every home. Asian people settled in USA, Europe and other parts of the world have introduced this dish there and local people also like it. It is easy and quick to make and as the name suggests very spicy.
The ingredients for the dish are chicken one kilogram, ginger and garlic paste two tea spoons, thinly sliced ginger, salt to taste, red chili powder to taste, ghee or cooking oil 1 cup, black pepper 1 tea spoon, green chili medium sized three and green coriander leaves as required for garnishing.
To cook we shall need a pan or a pot. First put ghee or oil in the pot and heat. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for about two minutes or till it is light brown. Then add salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder and cook it for around two to three minutes. Then add chicken to the pot and cook for about two minutes and add some water. Allow the chicken to cook in the steam for a while cover the pot. Do keep checking the water and when the water dries out add green chili and thinly sliced ginger in it. You can thinly slice the green chili or cut it in small to medium pieces before adding. Take out the chicken it in a serving bowl and garnish it with green coriander leaves thinly sliced. Serve the dish while hot with chapatti or naan.
