And in case of women, regardless of household or working, there is high demand of keeping themselves fit. The dry and cold air also affects other parts of the body besides skin and hair. Therefore, care of nails is utmost important in winter season because shining, healthy and strong nails gives beauty to your personality.

In the winter season, usage of cotton or wool gloves on your hands is recommended. Wear socks on your feet so that the naked parts of your body should also remain hot. Do not use very tight socks or gloves, because they can harm your nails. Wash your hands and feet with water and let them dry. When your hands get dry apply cream, lotion or oil on them.

Covered shoes also provide protection from bad weather effects. Choose comfortable shoes, because it is important to protect nails from getting broke. The health of a person is estimated by his nails. Use half bowl curd daily for the strength of nails. You will also get calcium, magnesium and vitamin A. Wear rubber gloves while doing water works. This will protect you from the bad effects of soap and detergent.

If you are fond of gardening, wear gloves at the time of doing gardening works, so that nails do not fill up with mud. In free times rub any oil or moisturizer on the nails so that their shine and strength remains intact.

The outer skin of nails normally burst after becoming hard due to cold since dry weather affects much on nails’ skin and therefore, it is important to protect your hands from water. This pain can be reduced if gloves are worn after applying moisturizer. Rub oil containing Vitamin E on the nails, the coconut oil can also be useful.

Use sterilized tools for manicure and pedicure purposes. Cut hard and broken nails with nail cutter carefully after taking bath. They will cut easily due to moisture. Keep cream with soap as well on the wash basin. Apply cream immediately after washing and drying of hands. Nail Polish makes the nails dry. Excessive use of it is harmful. In order to remove it do not use furniture polish remover rather use standard nail polish remover.

In severe cold the surrounding skin of the nails becomes injurious; in this case it sticks with the clothes while working. Apply coconut oil mixed in little milk cream on the nails and use some good hand cream that can moisturize your skin. Try not to injure your nails skin. Drink water excessively.

The juices of pomegranate, lemon and orange also give shine to nails. Carrot, Spinach, ladyfinger, beans, grams, apple, curd, pomegranate, sweet potato, fish, beef and mutton are all treasures of health. Usage of all these health treasures on daily basis as required is the best tonic for good health. Whatever, you eat, is manifested from your health. Always try to make some healthy supplement diet as a part of your daily diet.
