Here is a list of sites that say they will pay you to write but in reality you will make absolutely no dollars for writing for them.

Triond

This used to be a great website to write for however in the last two years, Triond got its ranks dropped in all search engines. The reason: it started to accept all kinds of low quality content, it started to accepts all writers, it made no positive changes to its machine in the last four years. With five articles you will earn absolutely no money with this website. Triond even has an internal ranking system that is good at ranking people with no content at the top and people who work hard do not even appear at the top at all. No, time did not change this because I have tried to rank high for four years and got nothing... even with hundreds of articles.

Bukisa

Another website that looks great but does not perform. You need to have an Adsense account to make money with this website. All you have to do is to write articles and see no money coming in because no one reads this website. Dozens of articles will not make you a single cent.

Helium

This website used to be the elite of the elite but now it is the worst of the worse. Helium used to pay 2.5$ per article at most but now it pays absolutely nothing no matter how hard you try. The problem is that a lot of low articles are at the top. The ranking system is a democratic one, which means, people with no expertise do rank your articles... what result can you expect?

Al Madina Writers

This website was around for about a year and paid a nice comission of the earnings but low quality article made this website go out of business.
