SimCity Social - Quest Guide 8

This instalment of my ongoing series of guides for quests in the SimCity Social Facebook game deals with quests that aren't part of any chapter in the game's storyline. You'll find the quests listed in the order that I completed them in, so you may need to consult one of my other guides if you don't find the quest you're looking for in this particular article.

Quest Name: No Whiffs, No Buts!

Requirements

• Synthesize Abe's Wonder Spray 5 times (Skip for 5 Diamonds)
• Earn 1,200 Simoleons from the Bowling Alley (Skip for 4 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 250 Simoleons
• 5 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• Diamonds are the premium currency in the game.
• Click Chemical Plants and select 'Synthesize' to complete the first requirement.

Quest Name: My Chemical Romance

Requirements

• Produce 500 Materials (Skip for 10 Diamonds)
• Have 6 Hard Hats (Ask friends or skip for 12 Diamonds)
• Have 65 Fame

Rewards

• 250 Simoleons
• 6 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• Collect Fame by performing actions in friends' cities.
• You can send private gift requests to your friends for the Hard Hats.
• The Hard Hats will also drop randomly when you interact with the Factories in your own city.

Quest Name: The Formula For Success

Requirements

• Build a Chemical Plant (Skip for 10 Diamonds)
• Produce Flavor Enhancer 1 time (Skip for 3 Diamonds)
• Invent Everglide Grease (Skip for 3 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 125 Simoleons
• 6 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• A Chemical Plant costs 65 Fame. Find it on the 'Factories' tab of the Shop.
• Click it 3 times to build it. To finish the Chemical Plant, you need to collect 6 Hard Hats.
• Click the Chemical Plant, then select the appropriate options to complete the other 2 tasks in this quest.

Quest Name: Greasing The Wheels

Requirements

• Enhance Flavors 5 times (Skip for 5 Diamonds)
• Grease up Workshops with Everglide 5 times (Skip for 5 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 750 Simoleons
• 6 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• You have to click 5 different Diners to finish the first requirement.
• You can click the same Workshop 5 times to finish the second requirement.

Quest Name: Back to The Lab

Requirements

• Upgrade your Chemical Plant to 1-Star (Skip for 12 Diamonds)
• Visit Brownburg (Skip for 1 Diamond)
• Collect Don's NeverRot Formula (Skip for 3 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 250 Simoleons
• 6 Experience Points

NOTES

• Brownburg is NPC Don's city.
• Click on the Mayor's House to collect the NeverRot.

Quest Name: Pickled Princess

Requirements

• Embalm 3 Mummies with NeverRot (Skip for 15 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 500 Simoleons
• 6 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• Click on a 1-Star History Museum, then select 'Embalm Mummies' to embalm the mummies.

Quest Name: Mind Your Own Business

Requirements

• Have 5 Businesses
• Collect from 5 Businesses (Skip for 5 Diamonds)
• Use Business Savvy

Rewards

• 500 Simoleons
• 7 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

Quest Name: People Power

Requirements

• Have 17,000 Simoleons
• Build a Giant Screen (Skip for 8 Diamonds)
• Population Target - 3,000

Rewards

• 250 Simoleons
• 7 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• The Giant Screen costs 16,000 Simoleons. Once you buy it, you'll need to build up your Simoleons to finish the quest.

Quest Name: Roll Up Your Sleeves

Requirements

• Collect from 6 Factories (Skip for 6 Diamonds)
• Have Elbow Grease

Rewards

• 250 Simoleons
• 7 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

Quest Name: Mayor-Wear

Requirements

• Build a Textile Mill (Skip for 10 Diamonds)
• Model the Municipal Collect 1 time (Skip for 3 Diamonds)

Rewards

• 2,000 Simoleons
• 7 Experience Points
• Rewards to share with friends

NOTES

• The Textile Mill is found on the 'Factories' tab of the Shop. It costs 17,000 Simoleons and needs 3 clicks to build. To finish it, you need 3 Business Cards, 2 Hard Hats, and 3 Elbow Grease.
• To model the Municipal Collection, click your Textile Mill, then select 'Model Collection.'
