I should not change
Yeah as soon as they see that change is going to benefit them- they change fast, else they would remain in their comfort zone. Latest example our president- he changed very fast. What a change from a bad planner to a speechmaker. This is very easy to make speech but when it comes to change for good most go in to their shells.
In spite of knowing that change is inevitable, most people want to go against it and have negative thoughts about it! It is probably because they feel secure to continue with what they are now and do not want to leave their territory of comfort. However, we know that we should not change at the drop of a hat but for a real reason.
Where this is not demand to change you from your chosen path, you should not change just because people want you to bow according to their choice. You have your own personality and principals to follow for, stick to them.
Unless you specify the reason for change, I would take it for opportunism. If the change is for good, that takes place automatically, one does not have to make any effort for that. You know diamonds are forever and they never change their shapes, but lesser metals keep changing at slightest of heat. I know a smart, cunning, cheat, flattering and person with tricks would never bow but find new techniques.
What I feel is that his is better to be one what is best for you, changing often and suddenly is opportunism, unless one is doing it for good and forever, this is not going to bring in good results for your image.
If you change your outlook and ideas according to occasions and every once in a while, you will be considered a rank opportunist and may lose all integrity. Nobody will believe you because you keep changing your statements. Changing according to new circumstances is perfect and demand of the time, however, changing according to person or place is very odd.
