According to a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States, every year over 200,000 people over the age of 15 are rushed to hospitals because of major injuries that they have sustained while visiting the bathroom either to shower or use the toilet.

2. White bathrooms are dangerous. When you have too much white in your bathroom, then according to experts, you are inviting danger for yourself. How does too much white in the bathroom become dangerous? According to experts, when you combine a pristine white bathroom with things such as bright lights and mirrors the resulting glare from this brightness can be blinding especially when it comes to elderly people with poor vision. What happens here is that the extreme brightness of the bathroom has the tendency of hiding dangers such as soap on the floor or puddles of water on the floor, which automatically exposes one to slipping. Experts have therefore advised people that in order to avoid such dangers it is important that you try to reduce the brightness of the bathroom such that it does not become too bright to impair vision.

3. Dangers from electronic devices in the bathroom. Many people have several electric powered devices in their bathrooms like electric hair dryer, electric razor and electric space heaters. Remember that the bathroom has so much water around it, and as we might all know that water and electricity are not compatible. All these electric appliances mentioned above can cause the danger of electrocution if extra caution is not taken. Their cases where these electronic devices could develop faults and with the combination of water all around can be a potential danger to all users of the bathroom.
