A common complaint among new mothers – their lives are so hectic they don’t even have time to have a shower. As a fairly new mother myself (my daughter just turned one) I can attest to this but with me its more about semantics. My daughter is a light sleeper and by the time I finally get her to sleep I don’t even want to chance it as her rooms directly next door.
When she was younger I would put her in her bouncy chair which would work until she started screaming and my shower would be cut considerably short (I didn’t really need to shave my legs anyway) When my daughter progressed into the seperation anxiety phase (which she hasn’t grown out of yet) she stood between the shower curtains and cried for me to pick her up getting damp in the process and I didn't even get the shampoo out of my hair.
So next time I tried to have a bath, I figured it would work out better if she could see me the entire time. It was going well until she threw my bra into the bathtub. The next time I made sure everything I didn`t want in the bathtub was up on the counter out of reach including the socks she was wearing (what is the fascination babies have with socks) I may be swimming with a lot of bath toys but atleast I finally got to have that shower (well sort of)

I'd suggest you just need to wear her out so she sleeps more soundly, but what'd probably happen is that you'd wear out faster!
