Basic Info

Now I am like many other people who wonder how to train their combat skills quickly. Now I have discovered a method of obtaining experience at a decent rate with minimum risk. This method is Experiments. Experiments are creatures that you encounter during the Creature of Fenkenstrein quest. This is a very easy quest and can be done in about 30 mins or so. During the quest you will go into a memorial which will contain an assortment of strange creatures. From Spider Men to Sheep Dogs. During the quest you have to slay a level 51 experiment that appears to be a ladies head on a horse body (I honestly dont know).

Now what you will want to bring with you for the quickest training would likely be:

  • Strength Potions (to increase damage done)

  • Attack Potions (if you want to hit more often)

  • Amulet of Glory (to increase chance of hitting and damage done)

  • Citherade Robes (so you can charge prayer easily)

  • Ability to use Ultimate Strength or other Strength enhancing prayers (improves damage dealt)

  • A weapon that attacks fast and hits rather high (Saradomin Sword or Abyssal Whip)

  • Alot of time (for prolonged training)

These are the items and skills you will want to bring. These will drastically increase your training speed so that you can get the most out of your time spent. The fact that these creatures have 1000 lifepoints allows you to gain around 400 experience per experiment. One thing that some people may like or dislike is the fact that they only drop bones and will rarely drop spin tickets. To some that would be nice so they dont have to constantly run to the bank. If you can spend alot of time you can get alot of experience.

Stratagies

Now something that you have to consider is that the fact that many people will train here. Usually people will keep to one area and train on the experiments in that area. Almost all of the areas consist of two experiments: one sheepdog and one spiderman. Patience is key when training here because many people will simply come into your area and kill the one you were about to attack (likely because someone did it to them or they are just there to annoy you).

Payout

This stratagy can pay out in the long run from an experience standpoint if you do not want to take on more challenging combat training methods, such as Barrows. In any case you can train well if you are constantly paying attention to what is going on. Because it may take quiet a few hits to kill them you can do something in a different window like watch videos or other things.
