RuneScape 99 Cooking Guide

I find that the best f2p cooking spot is the g.e. or Fist of Guthix because there are almost always people lighting fires there. The best place to cook in all of runescape however is the rouges den were the fire never goes out and a bank is always close by.

1-10

Cook Sardines, you will need to cook succesfully about 29 of them but you will burn a few so you might want to have 45-55 of them in your bank.

Sardines- 40xp each

10-20

Cook Herring, you will need to succesfuly cook about 67 of them, so make sure to have around 90 of them in your bank.

Herring- 50xp each

20-60

Cook Trout, u will need to cook about 10,000 of these.

Trout- 70xp each

60-73

Cook Tuna, you will need to cook around 7,200 of these succesfully. You shouldn't burn much, in fact you probly won't burn any.

Tuna- 100xp each

73-80

Cook lobsters, you will need to cook around 8,350 of them succesfuly. At lvl 74 you stop burning them.

Lobsters- 120xp each

f2p 80-99

At lvl 80 if you are f2p then just cook Swordfish until 99. You will need to cook around 78, 850 of them succesfuly. This will take along time but don't think about getting 99, just think one lvl at a time and talk to people while waiting for the food to cook, otherwise you might loose interest.

Swordfish- 140xp each

p2p 80-89

Cook Swordfish, you will burn quite a few but its still farely fast xp. At lvl 82 (with cooking gauntlets) you will stop burning them. Without the gauntlets you will have to wait til lvl 86 to stop burning them. You will need to cook around 20,400 Swordfish succesfuly.

Swordfish- 140xp each

p2p 89-92

Cook Monkfish, You will need to cook about 11,200 of them succesfuly.

Monkfish- 150xp each

p2p 92-99

Cook Shark, shark give an insane amount of xp. You will need to cook around 31,050 of these succesfuly. If you have ever gotten a 99 before then this will be a brease do to how fast you will be gaining xp. You can get up to 250,000xp per hour if you cook Sharks nonstop.

Sharks- 210xp each

Once you get 99 its time to go get your Cooking cape, so tele to Varrock and go west to the cooking guild but be sure to be wearing a cooking hat and have 99k with you.

Notes:

-If you are f2p sadly you will not be able to purchase a Cooking cape because it is a members item.

-If this is your fist 99 then your skill cape will be untrimmed but if it is your second 99 then all your skill capes will be forever trimmed and unreversable.

-You can opperate your skill cape and it will boost your cooking lvl temporarily to 100
