Ronald Reagan's Dark Secret

     Ronald Reagan is often said to be the saviour  of our economy. He is revered by conservatives. Reagan helped businesses however he could during his reign as president. Most people were happy because their were more jobs avaliable. This sounds great but the media leaves out the bad things Reagan did during his two terms as President.

     The Iran Contra Scandel is thought to be bigger than Watergate Scandel. That's saying a lot because Nixon had to resign because of his involvement in the Watergate Scandel. Ronald Reagan illegally supplied weapons to Iran through Isreal even though Congress denied Reagan this request. Iran had a couple of American hostages and the Ronald Administration tried to barter with Iran. American ended up giving Iran a lot of weapons (10 millions dollars worth) and even raked in some money from it. American than used this money to fund contras, anti-communist rebels who were in Nicaragua. The United States illegally supplied Iran with weapons and also funded contras with money that was illegelly obtained.

When this secret hit the media, majority of the evidence was destroyed by Reagan's Administration. This isn't the only thing Reagan did that angered people. He also distributed cocaine to low income -neighborhoods. I'm suprised Reagan was elected to serve another term. I guess the people looked the other way when Reagan did henious things because Reagan was helping make the economy better.
