The Story of Remember Me

The film starts off with a mother being shot on a subway and her young daughter witnessing it. He meets Ally, the daughter of the mother who was shot and also a college student like himself. They end up together. Ally, who is trying to live every day as it comes and Tyler, who writes a daily diary to his dead brother are drawn together.

Tyler is a rebellious kid and is estranged from his father after the death of his brother. He is shocked to find that he is falling for Ally, which begins to heal his heart and he finds himself coming to terms with the loss of his brother. The film has a tragic ending, which may shock viewers, because it brings in the 9/11 tragedy in New York City at the end. Remember Me is an intense, tragic, romantic film for anyone to watch. It is one of the best drama romance films out today, but some would say that the story is not fulfilling enough to make it a great film.

What Makes Remember Me a Great Movie to Watch?

Remember Me is a dramatic story. The reason why it is a great movie is because Robert Pattinson's performance is inspiring to watch. Unlike his performance in the Twilight Saga movies, he is much more emotional and moving in Remember Me. Also starring in Remember Me is Emilie de Ravin, an Australian actress who starred in the television hit series of Lost. Her acting in Remember Me was hypnotic. Both of their performances made the storyline effective and it gave the film more of a statement of everyday lives of people in New York.

Allen Coulter directed Remember Me with passion. Will Fetters wrote the screenplay and gave the characters meaning and a purpose in the film making it all the more brilliant to watch. Some would say that there was no plot to the film, but it is not meant to be like that. It was meant to be performed with passion, which gave a statement to people who have lost loved ones in tragic ways.

So, it will be one of those films that may bring tears that some will either love or hate, but it is still a great movie to watch today.
