Reddit’s Shocking Rape Thread

I discovered yesterday that someone had posted a thread on reddit asking if anyone had ever raped someone, what made them do it, and if they had regretted it.

I know the internet is suppose to be a place for free speech and all but I don’t think reddit is the place, it should be taken down. Not only that some of the comments are completely shocking.

Why anyone would anyone want to post something like this in the first place? I really hope its gets taken down and its very offensive, especially to rape victims. its just a very sensitive subject that rapists should not be talking about so openly.

However rape victims are also sharing their stories on the thread, and if they want to do that then its up to them. But do people really want to her the story from a rapists point of view. I for one don’t care what their reasons may be, there is no excuse for doing anything like that.

If victims want to share their experiences it is their choice but I do not think offenders should also be able to comment and I don’t think reddit is the place for it.
