After a length of time writing for sites like ExpertsColumn, Triond or Bukisa and others, you may become stumped as to what else to write about. You may feel that you’ve exhausted all ideas for your niche topic. Don’t despair. I’ll show you how you can turn your old articles and recycle them to become unique content.

Recycling your old articles and making them unique content again is like doing your research once and producing more than one article based on that one research. You’re essentially squeezing as much juice from one research as you can.

First of all, what you need to do is to look through your portfolio of articles and see which of your articles are doing well. From those top earning articles, you can produce six more unique articles by changing your presentation style.

What are the presentation styles to use to recycle your old articles?

Straightforward style. As the name of this style implies, it requires you to write your article in a straightforward way. There would be an opening paragraph and then three paragraphs for the body of the article and one conclusion. You would be presenting your article in a straightforward manner. This style doesn’t require you to give a personal opinion but you may if you want to.

FAQ style. Or the Frequently Asked Questions style is the question and answer style of writing your article. You present your points in a question form and give the readers the answers to the questions. Make sure these are questions you think most readers would ask. This way you would get readers to your article.

Quiz style. In this style, you’d list quiz questions about your topic and then direct the reader to the answers preferably found in another article you’ve also written.

This way you automatically get two views to tow of your articles. You may want to write questions requiring Yes/No or True/False answers or you may formulate more complicated questions.

Step by step style. This style is often used for how-to articles where you give a list of steps leading your readers to accomplish a task successfully.

Checklist style. With this style, you’ll give your reader a checklist. This is by far the fastest way of writing an article as you just list down the facts to your readers.

Mistakes style. With this style you’re essentially telling your readers not to do something in order to gain from it. This style is very effective as a lot of people are afraid of making mistakes and will try to avoid them if they can.

Can you guess the style I’m using to write this article? If you say the checklist style, then you’re right. I can turn this article into several articles by changing my style and so can you.

Now, go and find one of your top earning articles and produce six more articles. Send me a message once you’ve written your articles and I’ll be glad to read them.

thanks, Good article with some helpful advice

This is really good advice.

I would like to add that you can also improve on your previous articles by introducing recent news and trends (of course, linking back to your original article, so it will also receive some views).

Or giving a different angle to the topic. This maybe appropriate if your view or opinion on a certain topic has already changed.

Umi, this is the best tip I have ever heard. Thank you.
