Reasons Not To Sell Using Your Blog

Generating traffic using your own blog is not a great idea since you either become a SEO expert and learn how to optimize your blog for search engines or you focus on writing and selling products, but you will never be good enough doing both.

Your blog is a great place to have people visiting it and to have fun, read interesting opinions, but never a place to invest your working time to generate traffic to your landing pages. There are bloggers that are successfully doing it but you are not very likely to become such blogger.

Another reason now to use your blog to generate traffic is that you are likely to lose your readers because they come to your blog to read good informative impartial content and if they see links to landing pages they will think you just want them to come to buy - and so they go away forever.

You can however use your blog to send people to other articles you have in article directories and then use these article directories to write articles and insert links to landing pages.

Finally, do not even think about starting a series of blogs to generate traffic because if your blogs do not have ultra quality, people will not link to them and search engines will not like them as well.
