We all have worries whether it’s Carlos Slim, the world’s richest man or a poor man from Somalia. Some people seem to live with fewer worries while others have a lot of them. May be some know how to manage the worries while others don’t. Nevertheless what causes all our worries? How to overcome them effectively? Please keep reading……

Buddha’s concept: Buddha said that desire is the cause for all worldly sorrows. Did he mean we should never have any desires at all? It can’t be; Buddha himself travelled extensively to many villages in India to teach people the philosophy of life and acquire wisdom. He spent almost 40 years teaching people the truth of life soon after he had acquired spiritual wisdom under the famous Bodhi tree. Had he not had that strong DESIRE to get the people enlightened of life’s philosophy? So what he probably would have meant was the bad desires such as the desire to get sensual pleasures and the selfish desires. Good desires on the other hand are good for anyone.
So what brings you the worries? It must be the fear that causes all worries. The fear of failing to achieve goals, losing a job, losing a relationship, losing health, death and fear of these things happening to our dear ones. Fear is the major factor that causes all the worldly worries.

How to get rid of fear? It’s easy said than practicing the techniques to get rid of worries. Nevertheless if you understand the philosophy of life it can help you to remove your unwanted fears to a great extent. Soul is immortal. Only the body dies and not the soul. We have nothing to lose in this world as we hadn’t brought anything when we came into this wonderful world. Whatever we got in this world are from this world and why should we worry when we lose them in this very world. You can practice yoga and meditation. You should learn to live with detached attachment. You can cultivate positive thoughts and learn to get rid of negative thoughts. Faithful prayers can do wonders. You can also practice to forgive people and learn to love the whole Universe.
