There are many interesting things in our small world that astonishes us and makes us respect and love nature and God’s creations and here are some of them.

Firstly, I would like to say that I have spent hours and hours on internet trying to gather all these interesting facts in one place to share it with everyone else. I was very happy and astonished as I have gathered a good amount of facts and decided to share it with everyone. I hope that you would enjoy reading my article.

Did you know that… Animal Facts

  • Horses and rats do not vomit.
  • Horses can manage to stand on their legs the whole time for a whole month.
  • If a horse’s tail is cut off, the horse dies.
  • All polar bears are left handed.
  • Cats have 32 muscles in each ear.
  • Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
  • Starfish have to brains
  • A cockroach can live up to 9 days without its head, it only dies because it cannot eat. (Youtube it for proof!)
  • If a scorpion is surrounded by fire, it stings itself and dies.
  • Giraffes can clean their ears with their tongue which can reach up to 140 cm.
  • Mosquitoes have 47 teeths and rabbits have 28 teeths.
  • Crocodiles cannot stick out their tongue

  • The Muscles in our hearts have the strength to shoot our blood 10 meters in the air.
  • The only food that does expire is the natural honey.
  • If you sneeze powerfully, you might tear a muscle.
  • If you try to block the sneeze, you might blow up a blood vessel in your head or neck and die.
  • If you try to sneeze with your eyes opened, they can explode. (That’s why its nearly impossible to do so!)
  • When a person dies, the first sense he loses is the hearing.

Did you know that… Historical facts

  • During historic civil wars, when troops returned without any casualties, a writing was put up so all can see which read ‘ 0 Killed ‘ From here we get the expression ‘O.K.’ which means all is good.
  • When the English settlers landed in Australia, they noticed a strange animal that jumped extremely high and far. They asked the aboriginal people using body language and signs trying to ask them about this animal. They responded with ” Kan Ghu Ru” …the english adopted the word kangaroo. What the aboriginal people were really trying to say was ” we dont understand you”, “Kan Ghu Ru”.
  • A statue in a park with a soldier on a horse with its 2 feet in the air means the soldier died in combat. If the horse has only one foot in the air, the soldier died of injuries from combat. If the horse has all 4 feet on the ground, the soldier died of natural causes.
