Since we tried playing Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell video games, any video game with the name “Tom Clancy” became a must own product in our home. Tom Clancy video games are always fun and never just the standard first person shooter style of game. This is a review for Rainbow Six Lockdown for the Playstation2 console.
This game was designed for one to two players by Ubisoft, Red Storm Entertainment, Havok, and Dolby Surround sound Pro Logic II. Rainbow Six Lockdown is rated M for Mature for blood, language, and violence. Up to sixteen players can play on a network. It is highly recommended that you use a memory card to save your progress. This game is challenging as well as fun.
Unlike standard first person shooter and sniper games, Rainbow Six Lockdown allows you to customize your team and its gear. You can unlock new levels, characters, and gear as you collect brief cases along the way. This is a game that will keep you busy for a while through the challenges that it offers. As many other Tom Clancy games offer, Rainbow Six Lockdown also has story modes as well as head to head action or co-op options.
You can hunt bad guys or play the regular game scenarios. You can choose frag grenades, stun grenades, flash grenades, or phosphorous grenades for your equipment along with battering ram style hammers, or door charges. As you progress you unlock an arsenal of different assault weapons to choose from for your team members.
This game is enjoyed over and over again in my home. On my scale of one to ten, Rainbow Six Lockdown gets a “Locked-in” 10 for good quality fun, entertainment, and game play. Graphics are more than adequate and the storyline is intense as only Tom Clancy can capture such subject matter. This is another “Must Own” video game. The fun-packed game has so much to do and so many challenges that are required to be completed in order to unlock everything that you will spend days playing Rainbow Six Lockdown rather than hours in order to accomplish every task it throws at you. Tom Clancy and Ubisoft are a dynamic team for video games. Keep making video games like this one. My family are die hard fans of all of your games.
