Killing sacred cows: The Prophets

The definition of a prophet is a man who hears from God and is anointed to speak the mind of God.

In this vein, the very first prophet in the scriptures is Job as the book of Job predates the time of Abraham, as a prophet, Job excelled and was exemplary in his conduct. He worshiped God with a sincere heart and offers prayers for the sins of his children, bore the temptation that was thrown at him by Satan with dignity, prayed according to God’s instructions, for his friends who insulted and castigated him in his conduct, was restored and his life became a lesson for all Christians.
