Project Runway Recap "Go Big or Go Home" - Season Nine designers are challenged to create fashion garments for models on stilts. Project Runway season nine challenge three recap on Lifetime, with guest judge Kim Kardashian.

The remaining Project Runway season nine designers are split into teams of two to complete a garment for stilt models. I think the biggest challenge here was learning to work together and respect each others' opinions. But, of course the judges, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and guest Kim kardashian were looking for the best constructed garments and most creative. The runway took place outside for a live audience, which is a first in Project Runway history.

Project Runway Season Nine Challenge Three Winner - "Go Big or Go Home"

The winner of this week's "Go Big or Go Home" challenge was Laura Kathleen, who was teamed with Anthony Ryan Auld. The spectacular red outfit awed the judges and the audience as the stilt model flowed down the runway. Fashion Designer Michael Kors remarked the garment could be easily adapted for normal wear.

Design with that WOW Factor

The Kathleen/Auld design was unquestionably the one with the WOW factor this week, but, coming in close behind was the design by Kimberly Goldson and Becky Ross. It was evident that the designers who worked best together had the best garments.

Third Designer to Go Home

For that reason, Fallene Wells was the third Project Runway designer to go home. She was partnered with Bryce Black who clearly took advantage of her inexperience and naivety. Bryce convinced her that nothing that she contributed to the project had much value because she didn't have professional training. However, the tube top that Bryce made to replace the bodice that Fallene had created, was a total mess and frankly looked much worse than what she had put together. Fallene didn't fight for herself and it ultimately sent her home.

This Week's "Uh-oh" Moment

I guess the "Uh-oh" moment had to be the match up of Bert Keeter and Viktor Luna. BIG MISTAKE. These two couldn't agree on a single thing. Viktor lied at the drop of the hat, as if, the cameras aren't rolling and everyone can hear what he says and what he claims he didn't say. The vinegar and water mix almost took the pleasure out of watching the show. Needless to say, their garment was in the bottom three.

I hope to see you in the workroom next Thursday night. In the mean time, check out the designers and watch full episodes of Project Runway on Lifetime. Don't forget to vote for your favorite designer; currently, Anthony Ryan is in the lead.
