Prince William and Kate Most-Down-to-Earth Royals

UPDATE:  14 March 2013  -- In view of the Royal couple expecting their first child the Queen gave them a house at their Sandringham Estate.  Again it is very modest with mere 10 bedrooms. At the moment the security and some other alteration are being done. They certainly keep their feet on the gorund and follow Prince William mother's teaching. It has also been stated that they will keep their appartment in Kensington Palace and their cottage in Anglesea.

 
Before their first anniversary of the wedding Prince William and Kate stayed in a 3-star Inn at Westleton Crown Inn in Suffolk. They already stayed once before when Kate’s friend Hannah Gillingham married Robert Carter.

Hotel manager Gareth Clarke stated that they were told there will be some important guest arriving but not who it is. He revealed further that it was certainly a surprise and it is not everyday they will look after such special guest as the second in line to the throne.

They brought their dog Lupo with them in the car and their five-year old daughter was playing with it. They were very friendly and relaxed and asked not to treat them any special. Prince William was joking with the manager and remarked 'is a nice day' while it was pouring down with rain.

On Saturday night they had a drink in the bar and then went to their room which was called Swan Room. Sunday morning which was their first wedding anniversary they had a full English breakfast which is eggs, bacon, sausages and toast. Afterwards they left.

They are definitely the most down-to-earth Royals. They don’t like pomp. However, since Prince William is the second-in-line to the throne they make sure they are feeling comfortable as much as in Buckingham Palace as in a three-star Inn. The most important thing is to them their friends and family. Several times before they avoided special treatment and they will continue to do so.

It reminds you a lot of Prince William’s mother Princess Diana. Prince William became such a fine man and definitely made the right choice for Kate to be his wife. They make a perfect couple and it can’t be easy in those circumstances.

It is known that they use easyJet flights and refusing servants. They definitely proving that an almost ordinary way of life can be achieved which Prince William’s mother would have wanted.
