Power Failures

Power failures are quite common in our place during summer season. It is really hard to deal with this kind of frequent power failures. I am from India. As our country is a populated one and it is really hard to generate the power energy to all the states of our country. Most of the time we are facing frequent power cuts due to maintenance and lack of power.

Recently we faced a great power problem in my state. Every day power is switched off for around 8 hours. The power failure is scheduled in to 4 times per day starting from morning 6 to 9, 12 to 3 in the noon time and 8 to 10 in the night time. Some days power is switched off in the mid nights too. We suffered a lot with this power issues and struggled a lot to solve this issue.

People started some strike and fasting events against the continuous power failure in our place. As a result the government come forward to reduce the power failures and now power failures is reduced to 5 hours. With this new scheme, we are missing power at 6 to 9 in the morning time and 2 to 3 in the noon time and 7 to 8 in the night time. Every month power will be shut down for around 12 hours for maintenance. On this day we don't have the power supply from morning 8 to Night 8.

It is really hard to live with this kind of continuous power failures, as we have little kids and they are suffering a lot with this kind of frequent power problems. Recently i read that our government is taking more steps to solve this problem and producing electricity from wind using the big Air Fans. Hope this new scheme will help us to reduce the power problem. As well as our government will open a new power plant in our state within the next 2 months. If the new plant is started his work, surely the power problem will be solved, as we are expecting the new power plant in our place to solve this issue.
